I only started playing golf when I was 12 years old. Up until then I played every sport you can imagine; soccer, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, swim team, track, Tae Kwon Do (I'm actually a black belt!), softball. I had some natural ability when it came to golf, most likely because of the other sports I played, so when I got into high school that was my chosen sport. I lettered all four years in high school, won state my senior year and set my goal to play college golf.
I received a scholarship to play for Creighton University for the Fall of 2008 in my home town of Omaha, Nebraska. I played every event and had the best finish at the Missouri Valley Conference that Creighton Women's Golf had seen in several years. I decided to make a change and signed to play for University of Nebraska Omaha in the Fall of 2009. I continued to play every event during my time at UNO. My senior year, I felt like I wanted to start playing professionally sooner so I graduated a semester early. I finished my Fall semester in 2011 with a win and two top 5 finishes out of five events.
In the Summer of 2012, I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to play golf full time on The Cactus Tour. Since then I have lived in San Diego, California part time and currently in Burbank, California. I spend half of my year in Arizona playing and the other half in Burbank. January 2016, I officially turned professional. I was 11th on the Cactus Tour money list and competed as a professional during LPGA Qualifying School. I missed Stage 2 by 1 stroke but will have partial status on the Symetra Tour for the 2017 season.
